This accreditation is the base level training for persons involved in active natural area fire fighting.

Competencies covered:

PUATEA001:       Work in a team

PUAFIR210:        Prevent injury

PUAFIR204:        Respond to wildfire

PUAOPE013:      Operate communications systems and equipment

PUAEQU001:      Prepare, maintain and test response equipment

FWPCOR2205:   Follow WHS policies and procedures

Duration: 4 days, plus on-the-job practice and verification of skills back at work. Verification will include completion of a workplace report and submission of a follow-up performance report from their supervisor or line manager.

Group size: 8 (minimum) to 12 (maximum)
